In the aspen forest on approach. The light was really pretty.
We get to the first junction which would be the apex of our loop. We continue right towards Edith pass and later in the day we'll arrive the the trail on the left.

Sean noticed the moon above the ridge and I swapped to my telephoto lens to try and capture it before it slipped out of view.
Sean and I were slowed because of the amazing scenery in the pass. Conor and Marco kept going on ahead.

We spotted some climbers on the slopes of Mt Louis.
I asked Sean to go on ahead so I could frame him up against the background.
The pass was beautiful but the light just wouldn't come into the lower part of the valley. There was a cloud parked in the way.
Nearing the end of the pass and a bit of morning light starts to break through.
After squeezing through the chimney you turn right and climb up.
