Found some wild raspberries along the trail.. they were delicious
Looking across Upper Kananaskis lake, we're headed into the back there.. Left to right, part of Mt Sarrail on the left, part of Mt Marlborough behind, Mt Mangin with the glacier, Mt Cordonnier and part of Warrior mountain on the right.
I love this tree, found on the western slopes of Mt Indefatigable.

Crossing the upper Kananaskis river
We took the trail that runs next to Hidden lake. The water was low enough that we had no issues here.
Big trees that were flooded out by Hidden Lake in the past.
Rounding towards the backside of Hidden lake, we'll bushwhack to the scree slopes above Conor.. There's a bit of a trail in the forest, but not much of one.
I thought the trees looked pretty neat.
Last bits of our Hidden lake traverse..
Hidden lake in the foreground, Mt Indefatigable rises above upper Kananaskis lake. We followed the edges of both lakes to get here.
Fossil Falls was making a lot of noise.
Conor traversing the shoulder of Mt Sarrail. The waterfall originates from a glacier on Mt Sarrail.
A look back at Mt Indefatigable as we get higher.
Conor catches some fresh water
Still smiling :)
Some remnant snow along the trail.
Entering the crux of the Aster lake route..
The Aster lake route crux, a short step to the right will get us above this cliffband. It can be tricky with heavy backpacks.
Conor climbing the step
Looking back now that we're above the stop, the trail visible in the scree. Hiking to Aster lake is a bit of a jaunt!
