Back in the forest. I'd packed up my camera for the walk out, but the views made me get it back out again. It's around 7:30pm now and we have 90 minutes until sunset and a long ways to go still.. at least most of it will be downhill.
Love Alpine meadows. the trail through the grasses is a dried out creek bed which was probably flowing pretty good a month or so ago as all the snow melted.
Descending the Twin falls trail back to camp. The trail seemed way longer at the end of the day, inspite of the fact that we were descending.
