Looking forward towards the glacial plains. Mont des Poilus pokes up on the horizon.
Crossing easy terrain, although the trail was harder to spot.. Conor was able to pick out cairns in the distance and sometimes the ground had signs of boot beaten trails to follow.
A unique landscape.. it's not too often we get into this kind of place.. it takes time and effort to find the land of glaciers.
